Welcome to Fitness Walkthrough!
My name is Kevin Finn and I want to help you get fit, get strong, and look the part.
I’ve worked with everyone from average joes to CEOs to help them learn the ins and outs of fat loss, muscle gain, and the creation of healthy habits that last a lifetime.
I offer highly effective, individualized training routines, nutrition plans, and online consultations using a sustainable, evidence-based approach. If you’d like to learn more, head on over to my coaching page by clicking the button below.
Who is Kevin Finn?
(And Why Should I Listen To Him?)
I’m a husband, father, teacher, and online coach.
And if you think you don’t have time to get fit and look good, I’m here to prove you wrong.
I know what it’s like to balance family life, multiple jobs, and still try to find time to take care of yourself…
I live it every day.
I’ve been a teacher in the field of special education for over 10 years, but I’ve always had an incredible interest and passion for fitness. This led me to create this website back in 2012 with the goal of documenting my fitness journey and maybe inspiring a few other people along the way.
Turns out, I have a bit of a knack for breaking down the science of fitness and making it relatable to people. Since then I’ve been able to help hundreds of people lose weight, build muscle, and learn to embrace the journey along the way.
What Are Your Qualifications?
Fair question. After all, these days it seems like everyone is only 20 lbs and a few detox teas away from becoming an online health coach themselves.
*Excuse me for a moment while I put on my hipster hat*
Cause I was doing this before it was cool…
I guess this is also the time when I’m supposed to post a couple half-naked pictures of myself (where I’m trying super hard to look like I’m not flexing, but totally am) to show I “walk the walk.”
I’m not going to do that.
(I already tried and my wife made me take them down)
The truth is, merely having a six-pack and big guns does not make one a good trainer. And as one of my super-smart readers, you already know that.
A good trainer should have a proven track record of helping people just like you PLUS, the proper training and certifications to ensure it’s done so in a way that’s safe, effective, and evidence-based.
So here are a few of my qualifications:
This unique combination of skills and training in both fitness, education, and behavior management have served me very well as a coach.
It doesn’t matter how up-to-date and “evidence-based” my sports nutrition information is, or whether I write the best training programs in the world; what matters is whether I can teach people how to modify their behaviors, learn new skills, and create sustainable change.
This is a labor of love for me, and while I do charge for my services, my livelihood doesn’t depend on it.
So I’m never going to try and make a quick buck off you. In fact, most of the stuff I put out is totally free.
I only pursue projects I am passionate about, and I only help people whom I think I can help.
If you’re ready to open your eyes to truth about diet and fitness, I can equip you with the tools necessary to transform your physique and become confident in your own skin. If you’re interested in coaching, check out my coaching page. Hardgainer? Don’t leave before checking out Hardgainer HQ.
Either way, don’t be a stranger. If you’d like to ask me a quick question, feel free to reach out via my contact page.
I’ll get back to you promptly.
May the Force be with you.
